Originally produced 3 decades ago, the Kinder Smock gained popularity among Sheffield climbers. Its distinctive design allowed it to be worn comfortably with a harness or belay device, easily visible on the dark gritstone. An enduring symbol of the past and present, the Kinder remains durable and tough as ever, crafted from the traditional Pertex material. Embracing a slower pace and heavier weight, there's no substitute for the comforting warmth of the Kinder on a chilly belay. In some cases, the traditional approach proves to be the most effective.
